PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION AT THE DUKES
There is an exhibition of black and white photographs by George Coupe at the Dukes Gallery from Thursday 7th September until Wednesday 4th October 2000. It is free and everyone is welcome Mondays to Saturdays 10am 10pm.
The exhibition is called Making Talking Heads and it chronicles the Dukes’ recent highly acclaimed production of Alan Bennett’s popular monologues from the day the cast arrived, the rehearsals until the last full dress rehearsal before the opening night.
George’s pictures capture the intensity and hard work involved and also the more relaxed and funny moments with the cast and director. George is a freelance professional photographer and he also works at the Folly Gallery in Lancaster.
